I am a 30-year-old designer with 4 years of experience in technology. Currently, I am working as a Brand Design Manager, using branding tools and user experience to elevate the company's brand. I also manage my team in a human and collaborative way, discovering and enhancing their personalities. I combine research and practice to translate clients' needs into evocative images that tell stories and establish emotional connections to their brands.
In 2012, I began my journey as a design student at the Federal Fluminense Institute in Brazil. This led me to study graphic design and art direction at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in the United States, where I learned to apply classroom theories in a practical and fast-paced work environment. This motivated me to move to New York City and create solutions for startups.
My interests lie in brand design and strategy. I completed my thesis on developing an application for the sharing economy, which sparked my interest in user experience. I formalized this knowledge at the University of California – San Diego. Through this journey, I realized that all these areas are essential to each other and fall under human-centered design.
